This is from prior to the move to the bigger location, but everyone was kind everything they could make from scratch they did. The bread the sauce is everything. I've never had something that I didn't care for. I can't wait to go back and see the new restaurant. They have a lifeline customer with me.

Best time for a Saturday nigh! You need to come in for fantastic food.. but wait I loved having a dart game after dinner. Food is solid delicious as it was at the old location. Only a short block east of the prior spot. Pastrami just as good as the last time I had it, not too fatty and not dry, total taste party on the tongue and lips. Husband and I split it, indulged again in the best sweet potato fries in Michigan.. far as I know to date. Andddd...!! Whaaat!! What was I thinking taking soooo long to come back. Dumb! Everyone loved their sandwiches and friend loved the amazing French onion soup, she could tell it tasted homemade! Beers on tap & I got to try a NEW local hard cider that was very good. Fun to have a few choices for adult beverages. Games to play too!! Alana our waitress if I'm spelling her name correctly was just a delight. Downside folks is when you support your local chef and restaurant they don't have the big chain or corporate millions for some trendy ambiance. This isn't my requirement for eating good food but to some of you peeps that want some polished brass or an interior design that's going to be Instagram pics for the pages it's got work to be done. I personally prefer money spent to make me super delicious food and hire people that are rock stars but everyone has their preferences. I hope that you'd all pack the place at Chadd's every weekend because if you don't we will start losing our local restaurants and chefs. Your big name chains might send you a free dessert that got thawed out from the box last night and maybe they have a menu that's already known but I'm so worried for our local Michigan restaurants I truly want to start a movement that we support the local businesses with every dollar that we can. Come into Chadds maybe we can have a Yelp meet up?!

I became familiar with Chadd's Bistro when it was included in Yelp's "top 100 places to eat in the U.S." list in 2022. It made that same list in 2017 and 2018, as well. Originally located in Rochester Hills, Chadd's is now in Shelby Township. The menu features over 3 dozen sandwiches, and there is a full bar. The bread and sauces are all made in-house, as well. My wife and I began our meal with poutine. Despite being a bit salty, it was one of the better poutines I've had locally. For our main course, we shared 3 sandwiches: the cheese steak supreme, the Italian sub, and the Monte Cristo. The cheese steak was flavorful, but could've used more cheese. The Monte Cristo was enjoyable. I found it to be more savory than sweet. The Italian was the best of the 3 sandwiches. I liked that the meats were sautéed, that the tomatoes were diced rather than sliced, and the addition of pickles. All in all, Chadd's has a quality sandwich for everyone on its menu.

New spot on Dequindre (& Auburn) is so dope! Arcade & tons of board games & booze now ... and a much larger spot than the carry out joint but still superb quality of service & food of course. So many choices. Order the Deluxe (drink and side) to get a mini poutine (thanks Josie for that tip) . Support Small Business

Food is excellent- they make their own bread! Awesome sandwich selection! You could try one new sandwich each day of the month and not have a repeat! Service is good too-everyone that works there now is super friendly . They greet you when you come in and have you 'sit wherever you'd like', and it seems like they enjoy their work. The owner is a great dude & I see him regularly working in the kitchen alongside his employees. The Ambiance is mostly really good too- they do have TV's and will have whatever sports games going that sports watchers like- but they aren't loud so I (as a non sports person) can easily tune out/ignore it. I really enjoy the variety of board games and card games to choose from! Kid friendly as well - games for all ages available and some coloring books too. I was there working recently and noticed the music playlist start over - when I went up to the bartender and made a request they were happy to honor it. There is currently a mural being painted - has been awesome to see it progress (: It has a lot of nostalgic elements with some board games from my childhood.

We got fried artichokes, fries, housemade ketchup and bistro sauce, and Hardcore Joes. Such. Good. Food. If they ever offer a gluten free bread, I'll be doing backflips of joy

Great place actually owned by Chadd! I had the Hardcore Joe...chicken breast with good spices. Their bread is so good! Everything there is freshly made. Some would say it's expensive...but it's all so fresh you ARE getting what you pay for! They could do fries better. They weren't really hot and completely unsalted Good atmosphere and friendly service.
